This week has been f**king cold and these are way better than the wool socks I normally wear. I haven't needed to wear thinsulate rated boots and have been in low teen and single digit temps for and hour or two at a time. Normally, the issue is sweating and then freezing while doing sh*t outside this time of year.

I can officially say Alpaca is a game changer. Packed out 4 different elk with temps varying from early to late season and the regulation and moisture wicking the material provides is something else! Yes, Alpaca Is 5x Warmer than Morino Wool. Alpaca also offers a 50 degree comfort range meaning that if its 20 degrees out side your feet should be comfortable at approximatly 70 degrees depending on conditions

Making a 100% alpaca sock offers little comfort in terms of overall shape, when making a modern sock you incorperate other synthetic materials like nylon, polyester, elastic, or spandex to make the sock fit the foot correctly. With out other materials the sock will become loose and bunch casuing blisters

We know that most people wont take the time to properly wash Alpaca so we made our products with that in mind. Turn inside out, wash with cold water on a delicate setting. They can be washed with other items of clothing.
Since Alpaca is so moisture resistant, we recomend letting all products air dry by laying or folding it in its natural shape. However, you can dry them in a dryer on low heat or air dry settings.
