Void Wool Alpaca Socks
Alpaca
Alpaca fleece, often overlooked in favor of sheep's wool, deserves a closer look for its remarkable qualities. While technically a fiber akin to hair, its characteristics far surpass those of traditional wool. Alpaca fleece offers wearers an array of benefits, including superior warmth, exceptional softness, and a lightweight feel. Unlike sheep's wool, alpaca fiber boasts impressive thermal properties, ensuring comfort in diverse climates. Moreover, its durability stands out, promising longevity even with frequent wear. Additionally, alpaca fleece possesses innate moisture resistance, keeping the wearer dry and comfortable even in damp conditions.
Hollow Fleece
Alpaca stands out as one of the softest fibers globally, making it an ideal choice for various garments like base layers, socks, hats, and anything that comes into direct contact with the skin. Its exceptional softness ensures unparalleled comfort, even during extended wear.
Moreover, alpaca fiber's unique hollow structure contributes to its lightweight feel, enhancing thermoregulation capabilities. This means you can experience comfort across a broad temperature range, with a staggering 50-degree span of coziness.
Additionally, alpaca fiber boasts a higher tensile strength compared to Merino Wool, a common benchmark for quality. This translates to greater durability and resilience, resulting in garments that last longer and are less prone to pilling. Say goodbye to premature wear and tear, and hello to enduring comfort with alpaca fiber.
Moisture Wicking
Alpaca's moisture-wicking abilities are truly remarkable. Its fleece has a natural propensity to repel water and sweat, ensuring that whether you're trekking in boots or enduring a scorching summer day, your clothing remains dry, comfortable, and cool.
Unlike some fabrics that become waterlogged, alpaca repels water and prevents moisture from seeping into the hair. This characteristic makes it an excellent choice for both inner and outerwear, providing reliable protection against damp conditions. Say goodbye to soggy clothes and hello to staying dry and comfortable with alpaca garments.

Yes! Alpaca naturally reduces foot and body odors. Since the fiber is anti-microbial, it wont totally elimate body odor, but mitigates it signaficantly. Keep this in mind when we lauch base layers :)

We know that most people wont take the time to properly wash Alpaca so we made our products with that in mind. Turn inside out, wash with cold water on a delicate setting. They can be washed with other items of clothing.

Since Alpaca is so moisture resistant, we recomend letting all products air dry by laying or folding it in its natural shape. However, you can dry them in a dryer on low heat or air dry settings.

No, Alpaca will not say wet or keep water or sweat against your skin. It pushes water away to a place it can evaporate keeping you warmer and dryer.

Testimonials
I love em I used them for day to day things like heading to classes and they kept my feet warm even during colder days. When I would take walks in the woods and get my shoes wet my feet normally would get cold easily but with the socks they stayed fairly cozy. I used them to ski multiple days in a row while in Colorado and they were consistently comfortable and didn’t make much of a smell, even after the third day. Overall pretty well made sock in my opinion and they’re now my go to for skiing in the backcountry and in bounds
