Making a 100% alpaca sock offers little comfort in terms of overall shape, when making a modern sock you incorperate other synthetic materials like nylon, polyester, elastic, or spandex to make the sock fit the foot correctly. With out other materials the sock will become loose and bunch casuing blisters

We know that most people wont take the time to properly wash Alpaca so we made our products with that in mind. Turn inside out, wash with cold water on a delicate setting. They can be washed with other items of clothing.
